Professional Attire

There is nothing I dislike more than to see a woman dressed professionally in nice attire and she has horrible shoes. I understand of the fact that some women have feet trouble or do not like high heels or stilettos at all. However, if neither of those applies to you please invest in a nice pair of heels. Julia Roberts Thigh High Boots from the movie Pretty Woman

The weather is just starting to cool and I’ve seen a ton of celebrities wearing the over-the-knee and thigh-high boots. This looks like this is going to be a great trend for Fall/Winter 2009-2010. These boots are to die for and are great for a night out on the town. But are the professional enough? Will your bosses think you’ve reverted to Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman? We all know it’s summer and many people like to pull out the sandal and flip flops but these just aren’t professional attire. Growing up in the South I know that summers can get extremely hot. I am guilty of having many pair of flip flop or flip-flop styled sandal (with and without heels) in my closet. No matter how much you like them you just cannot wear them to work. Flip-flops are cute; they aren’t professional.
