Is It Acceptable To Bring My Child To An Interview?
Children Are Not Allowed At Interviews
It is not acceptable to bring your child to an interview. Recently, I went to an interview for a professional program and someone brought their child with them. As an interviewee you want to make the best impression possible. You need to be able to concentrate on what is being said and get all the information on the program. There is no way one can possibly concentrate in the interview if they are worried about their child who is sitting outside. This also may raise red flags for the people interviewing you. They may wonder if you will adequately be able to perform your job if you have trouble finding care for your child. They need a reliable person who is able to work and leave any family issues at home.

Networking with a Business Card
Are you a professional trying to get ahead? If so, you know the importance of networking. It’s the chance to meet new people and gain contacts while moving forward in your career. One very important thing to have as a professional is a business card.
If your company does not provide you with a business card you can find a local printing company to print some for you. With previous first hand knowledge of the printing business I can tell you now that you can get about 500 simple business cards for less than $50. It will be a great investment for your networking.
